Every week we get store flyers delivered to our driveway on Wed or Thurs. Most stores start their sales on Friday. I usually have a list of items we're out of and then go through the flyers to see if any of those items are on sale. I also look for any items on sale that I may need to stock up on. Sometimes, I plan my menu according to what's on sale. So, last week we never got our flyers. Sometimes they go in the ditch, but I never noticed them there.
Anyway, when we went to Charlottetown on Saturday, we stopped by the Library. They have a large selection of magazines. I checked out a few new magazines with recipes- Natural Health and Whole Living- which have inspired me to try some new recipes this week! Well, without the flyers, I made my list according to what ingredients I'll need for the recipes. I'm going to do a little experiment to see if I spend more or less money by not looking at the flyers. It seems my grocery list is long, but it's a lot of healthy produce!

Whew, finding all these recipes online makes me a bit overwhelmed. There are sooooo many recipes! I get most of my recipes the old fashioned way- on paper! But it's nice to see most are online. I've started to use HH's Nexus 7 for looking at recipes and it's really handy!
