Mornin!
We had a great, busy weekend. Saturday was the last swim lesson for DS and DD. They both passed their levels after being in the same one for a few times. (I just can't help but want them to move up and get "straight A's" even though they don't even give letter grades in Elementary school here!)
We also went to visit my FIL in the hospital who had knee replacement surgery last week. He is doing well and should be home on Tuesday.
The weather was nice on the weekend. There was supposed to be a storm Friday night, but it never really happened so that was good. We had sun yesterday and today is rainy. (That is my excuse for being lazy and not going on my walk.)
I tried the new primer Zinsser BIN Primer Sealer Friday and I love it! Mine was sort of cream coloured. I had expected it to be clear like lacquer. It was easy to apply using a foam brush so I didn't have to clean the brush after! It didn't even smell too bad- kinda like rubbing alcohol, but only if my nose was right above the can! Now I can't wait to cover all the knotty wood in the house. I only hope it actually works at keeping the knots from showing. Time will tell!
I also got one coat of paint of the back door trim and just need to finish up with one more coat!
I've still not been reading many blogs. Although, I have to admit, I checked out YHL and MFAMB. And then I found myself following some links to waste time instead of doing my painting so I had to stop myself. Also, I've been going on FB more, which is just the same as reading blogs, but with people I know who mostly don't do home projects!
