Hi!
Another week has gone by!
The Alberton Library has closed again! The smell is back and we're closed for at least 3 more weeks! I'm filling in at the Summerside Library two times and at the Kensington Library two times in the next few weeks, so that'll be nice.
The black car is in the shop in Charlottetown. Thursday, K went there for work and the steering went all funny. The steering wheel was crooked while he was going straight! Luckily he was right by a shop, so he left the car there and I picked him up. This meant I got to do some thrift shopping! I'm collecting Duralex drinking glasses and I found 5 of them! Plus, K and I had a nice Thai lunch.
This is (finally) the last week of school! N's Grade 6 Graduation is Thursday evening and the last day is Friday. We are ready for summer to begin!
Saturday, N had his 12th Birthday Party. (His birthday is actually June 24th.) He invited 2 friends to go to Rise and Climb, near Charlottetown.
They had a good time! (N is in the green shirt!)
After that, they came back here for a sleepover. We had pizza for dinner and then opened presents!
We had cake a bit later, since everybody was too full from pizza to eat it right after dinner. Twelve candles put out a lot of heat!
For Father's Day yesterday, the in-laws came up for dinner. K fixed a chicken gumbo. For dessert, we had leftover ice cream cake and my MIL brought up a rhubarb dish. It was a good weekend!
