Hi!
Another week has gone by! Here's what we ate last week.
- Thurs-Canned Maple Beans and Toast (Funny meal to have on shopping day, but N was gone and I just didn't feel like cooking.)
- Fri- Leftovers
- Sat- Anchovy Pizza made with Home-made dough - my best yet, although it could've cooked a bit more. I used 1 c. whole wheat flour and 2 cups + little extra for rolling of All Purpose Flour. Also, it says to use 1 T of salt and that's way too much. (All About Vegetarian Cooking pg 46). We made one pizza and with the leftover dough we made Montreal Style Bagels. We didn't do the topping, though. They were very much like the pretzels we sometimes make except we boiled them in honey water instead of baking soda water.
- Sun- Bone-In Chicken Noodle Soup ( It looks like you have to join the site to see the recipe, unless you stop loading page quickly before it goes to the sign-in page.) This was a good soup, although C didn't like it and N wasn't here.
- Mon- Huevos Rancheros
- Tues- Fish/ Porkchops, Roasted Carrots, Turnips, Parsnips (from FIL's garden)
- Wed- Pasta with Spinach Cheese Tomatoe Sauce, Multigrain Crescent Rolls
