Monday Musings

Hi!

We had a nice weekend.  DD got to spend a night at her grandparents' in Summerside.  DS got to go fishing  for the first time before the season ends on Sep 15th.  We had fresh trout for dinner last night.

Today is the first full week of school.  And already the kids are complaining about their lunches! Ha Ha!  So, it's back into the routine for me. I get the kids up, fix breakfasts and lunches for them, a green smoothie for me and get them on the bus.  Then I take a quick walk to the PO, come home and put the coffee on.  Now I'm writing, waiting for the coffee to brew.  I'll have breakfast after this.

Tomorrow my parents leave.  We'll go in for dinner in Summerside and they'll spend the night at the inlaws.  They have an early flight tomorrow morning.  My FIL will take them to the airport in Charlottetown and will stay for a dr's appointment there a bit later in the morning. Their visit has gone by fast.  Also, the summer has gone by quickly.  With no big trips or camping or even trips to Cavendish, it seems like the summer just went by without much fanfare.  (Although the kids did  go to Cavendish 3 times with school, my brother, and my parents so that was probably plenty enough!)

I found some new blogs I like, but we have a "new" computer that I'm working on and they were on another one, so I'll have to go back in the history and find them!

HH is working on the hallway wall.  We'll soon be able to put the door to the front room up!  And our bedroom/bathroom door! I'm excited to hang 2 of the 6 random doors we have hanging around!

(Sorry for no pics, but my photos aren't uploading to my google account.  Another thing I'll have to check on! )
