Front Yard Progress 2

Hi!

C & I went to the Back to School BBQ last night.  I met with C's teacher (who was N's teacher last year) and N's teacher.  C's class is doing well and so is N's.  I picked up N's forms for school and got some work for him to do since he's still home sick!

So, remember back in June when I wrote about the front yard?  No?  Well here's a pic.

I was trying to dig that pile of dirt so we could use it for a driveway.  Well, I finally got some help from K and he pretty much dug that dirt up in 2 days!!!  Here's how it looks now.

It's hard to even recognize it, but that spruce tree is the same.

I was just focusing on the pile of dirt below,

But K went even further and is into another "hill" of dirt behind the wheelbarrow on the left.

And speaking of driveways, remember how we cleared all that sod off the right hand side?

This was back in Oct, 2013.

Well, some weeds have started to grow in.

I think this fall we're going to invest in some new gravel to fill in this part along with the new part that K cleared.
