It's Labour Day! The last day of summer vacation!
The summer went by so fast! I've really enjoyed it, especially the sleeping in part! Now we've all got to get back into early to bed, early to rise...
To mark the end of summer, on Saturday, we drove up to Freeland and took a boat ride to the dunes.
This is what it looks like, looking back toward PEI.
And here's what's on the other side.
A beautiful deserted beach.
It was a bit cool to go in the water, but we had fun!
We took some snacks.
The kids found a fun log for jumping on,
C practiced her gymnastics.
N tried too!
Then we went walking.
After, we went to Mollie's Cove Restaurant in Milligan's Wharf for lunch.
