Hi!
Can you believe it's December (5th) already!! The days are flying by and before you know it, it will be Christmas!!
There was no school yesterday for Teacher's Professional Development Day. And there was a snowstorm the night before! C's Thursday night 4H Meeting and N's Acting were cancelled. It snowed thru the night about 20 cm (7 inches). This meant K's work was delayed yesterday until 10:30!
Here he is plowing the driveway for the first time this year!
More snow pics...
I've been working on a few projects...
I bought some dye in Charlottetown a while back. First I got some Teal, so I could do some more rug dying to match the rug I dyed before.
I used it on another cotton rug, so it would kinda match the first rug.
I like the new rug (it was a pale green before).
But it turned out quite a bit darker than the other rug.
Right now the rug is in the master bedroom on my side of the bed.
I also dyed some old pillow covers I'd made with the same dropcloth fabric as the couch.
Here's how the pillow looks against the couch.
My previous dye project also included a quilt and here's how the pillow matches against that.
Along with a formerly white cotton bag on the bottom.
This bag took the dye really well!
I'm not sure what I will do with this bag though....
Hope you're having a great weekend! :-)
