Tear Down that Wall!

Well, the house is a mess! I've got lots of pictures to share. Here's DS tearing down DD's wall. He was quite excited to do it. It's fun destroying things!

Here's after the wall came down. I'm standing in the master bedroom.

The floor looks kinda nice from far away, but here's a closeup.
When DS was born, we turned this room from a little tv room to his room.  We painted the floor using some red from our front door, grey from the outside plywood skirtng under the cottage, white outdoor trim paint and the blue I believe HH got for some project of his.

While HH and I were busy working in the front, DD built a fort with her mattress in the kitchen/living room/dining room/ fortress(?)
DS joined her and exploded tons of confetti all inside the fort!  What a mess! It's mostly cleaned up now, but I'm sure I'll be finding confetti for months to come!
Here's HH, and part of the wall for our bedroom. The space in front of the bed is the closet door.
Here's a view from the front of the house looking toward the back.  The master bedroom is on the right (you can see the floor and the closet framing) and DD's room (which you can't see) is on the left.
And one more picture: the master bedroom floor- all covered in dusty drywall footprints :-(  Well, what can you do?
As you may be able to tell, we are not sleeping in the master bedroom yet.  Hopefully, in the next couple nights we'll be able to "move in".

It's a busy week. One last Cubs meeting on Wed, along with a Home and School meeting.  DD has a sleepover party on Friday and DS may have camping with Cubs this weekend.

:-)
