Lisa Marie

Our cat, Lisa Marie, was hit by a car this afternoon and died.

She was a great cat. She joined our family when she was a kitten 5 years ago. She liked to follow the kids around and even went for walks with us in the woods or down to the pond when we went ice skating! We loved her and she will be missed.  

C did a 10 minute video of Lisa back in June and here's a little montage.

• Fri- Fish (?) Leftovers for adults, Grilled Cheese with Tomato Soup for kids
• Sat- Pizza Chinese Dinner
• Sun- Harvest Corn Chowder with Bacon & Cheddar (Canada's Best Slow Cooker Recipes pg 50) Chicken Gumbo from whole chicken & stock made in slow cooker, Rice

Road Trip to Boston, MA; Durham, NC & Washington, DC

It's C's 9th birthday today!  She had her party on Saturday-everybody had a good time. I'll post some pics soon...
